Thesis topic: Understanding Citizenship: Bureaucracy, Imaginaries, and Encounters of Address

Anna participated in the Creative Communities Conference hosted by Griffith University in September 2012, where the paper she presented was very well received. In addition, she has had abstracts accepted for two conferences in 2013, the Conference on the Citizen in the 21st Century held in Sydney, and the Annual International Sociological Conference held in Athens.

In 2012, Anna won the FAAIA Scholarship to undertake fieldwork in Greece in 2013. This scholarship, awarded once every two years, will cover the cost of her airfares as well as providing a significant amount towards research and living expenses.
