Mahin is a computational social scientist with undergraduate and masters degrees in computer science and sociology from Tehran. She received her PhD from ANU on the topic "Online social networks and subjective well-being of older Australians". Mahin’s research interests are on digital media, health, politics and technology. Mahin works part-time as a researcher for VOSON Lab.
