Climate change, urban growth and rural decline, renewable markets, animal violence, environmental governance and biodiversity loss are some of the most pressing issues of our time.

The ENS node is concerned with better understanding and improving the interrelationship between environment, nature and society through critical and applied research work and community engagement. Collectively, members of ENS have been working on issues about climate crisis, eco-grief and biosociality, focusing on how environmental processes, representations and experiences become embodied.
