ACT Consent Reform Bill may negatively impact the LGBTQIA+ community
Thursday 22 July 2021

Gemma Killen, a recent Sociology PhD Graduate, has contributed to the ABC's new article: "Concerns ACT consent reform bill could open door to criminal prosecution of transgender people".

Now a Senior Policy Officer for the The ACT Council of Social Service (ACTCOSS), Gemma notes that although the reform is very important it may have some unintended negative impacts if there isn't further consultation with the LGBTQIA+ community.
