Thursday 15 September 2011

Congratulations to our Sociology PhD student, Rhiannon Galla, who was awarded this week the India Australia Association of Canberra Prize for her 2010 Honours thesis, "Fantasies of Destruction: Personhood and Transgression in BDSM Pornography".

The prize is awarded each year in each College to the student who, in that year, achieved the most outstanding Honours result in that College, as determined by the Dean of the College.  As well as this accolade, Rhiannon also received a $200 voucher for the ANU Co-Op Bookshop.
