Dan Woodman, Lecturer in Sociology, has been awarded the RC34 Second Worldwide Junior Scholar in Youth Sociology and Youth Research Prize (2006-2010), a prize awarded every four years for the best World Congress paper in the sociology of youth from a junior scholar engaged in youth research. The paper titled "the Post Secondary School Transition and the Desynchronisation of Everyday Life" has led to Dan being invited to participate in the ISA World Congress on July 11-17, 2010 in Goteborg, Sweden.
