PROGRAM DETAILS

This event will bring together a variety of actors and organisations involved in public policy (advocacy groups, politicians, the diplomatic corps, public servants, academics and think tanks) to examine their role and involvement in policymaking. This event is supported by the ANU Policy Advocacy Lab.

Senator Cormann’s keynote address will be followed by a presentation comparing the Australian and Belgian cases. Subsequently, two panels including academic experts and practitioners will focus on country comparisons and emerging trends in policy advocacy in Australia.
