Celeste Sandstrom is a PhD Candidate at the Australian National University studying experiences of trans women, phenomenology and feminist theories of embodiment and how these areas of interest might co-inform each other.

Her current work examines the use of memoir and autofiction by trans women since trans studies inception and how they interact with the generic conventions established by transition memoirs of the 20th century.
