Research interests

Working at the intersection of STS and economic sociology, Rachel's research explores digital money, fintech, technological affordances, and the use of AI and algorithmic design in sociotechnical systems.

Digital money, fintech, big data, AI, UX research and design, affordances, ethnographic research in industry.
